15th ASEMEP National Technical Symposium

The 15th ASEMEP National Technical Symposium will happen on 29-30 June 2005 at the PICC, Roxas Boulevard in Manila. The theme for this year's symposium is "Strengthening Philippine Competitiveness through Strong Business and Technical Partnership."

Our very own microscopy symposium in November, meanwhile, is gaining media mileage via ASEMEP as it is one of the activities listed in the ASEMEP Council for FA and Reliability (CFAR) Calendar of Activities. Shoutout to Ms. Ning Ibe of Philips Semiconductors Calamba, CFAR secretary for endorsing the 5th ASEAN Microscopy Conference.

Abstract submission extended!

From Dr. Amorsolo:

"...to ensure a wide participation among interested parties everywhere, we have decided that it would be in the best interest of the conference to accept abstract submissions for oral and poster presentations until May 6."

After the said date, screening will commence and late submissions will be accepted if there are presentation slots still available.

One more time, with feelings

I had the last microsphil website revamped. Previous template has issues in rendering, texts overlap in alternative browsers--Firefox, Mozilla and Maxthon. Everything should be OK now.

So, have you submitted your abstracts yet? Deadline was last Friday--April 15.
